Year in film: 1921, later
Country: USA
Who in clothing: Meggie ~11, girls, woman
Who in clothing 2: boys, hist. clothes

Clothing occurence: low+ ?
Rating:  3/10 ?
–Rating: ***
Comment: Pigtailed Sydney Penny and some few other girls in white sailor dresses (black or dark blue skirt) and white collar, also some others in historical clothes including boys (most notable Vidal Peterson (“Something Wicked This Way Comes”) pants with suspenders, ranch hat, round glasses) and at least one woman (dress + large sailor-style collar) and some kids at least in ep 1 set at a fair show in 1921.

Sydney Penny is being caned on her hands.

Rather few good scenes but I mainly have checked part 1. The sailor dress looks almost like a Japanese fuku. Later parts are set in the 1960s.

Rating ~3. Also soon on my pigtails blog with another pic.

Now also on my Western blog rating 4 for Vidal Peterson.

Info 263: Spanking scene Rochusschule

A top link, but not available anymore.

Pics are available on

One spanking scene and one good scene of boys with open collars

I also remember a very good pic of boys, rear view, showing the collar flaps (boys seeing the collars of the boys in the front seats). Not sure if it was this school. pic 3c isn’t available.

Comment: Some girls and teen girls in sailor dresses and similar. Also boys, teen boys and a teen girl in bib overalls and shortalls (other blog, rating 7). Pic 1 at 55 minutes, pic 2 at 38. Other boys in historical clothes but mainly in pants with suspenders or overalls. I don’t remember knickers.

Interesting movie with a time travel plot.

Some few interesting scenes but the bib overalls are much better.

Also a spanking scene of an older teen boy at school (in overalls) at the beginning.

So for sailor dresses rating 3 only.

Valentina (1982)

Drama by Antonio José Betancor
Year: 1982
Year in film: 1911
Country: Spain
Who in clothing: boy ~10 sailor suit
Who in clothing 2:
Available on DVD: yes
I own: no
Clothing occurence: low
Rating:  4/10 ?
Rating: ****
Comment: One boy, I think 12 yo Jorge Sanz as 8 yo Pepe(?) in a dark blue sailor suit. One rather short scene. Short collar flap. Also a church boy in a white/red gown, round red collar. Also a spanking scene but not in the sailor suit.

There’s also a sequel called “1919, crónica del alba” set 8 years later with a teen girl or young lady in a dark blue dress and a plain white sailor collar.

I’m still searching for my Italian assumed unknown movie and checked almost all Spanish and Portuguese movies of the 80s and 90s with no success.

Alternate title: Valentine. Starring Anthony Quinn.

Few scenes, so rating 4 for this one. Also soon on my bedroom and pigtails blog, rating ~6.

Celia (1989)

Drama by Ann Turner
Year: 1989
Year in film: 1950s

Who in clothing: Celia ~9 sailor dress
Who in clothing 2: boys, knickers

Clothing occurence: low+ ?
Rating:  6/10 ?

Comment: At least this blonde, pigtailed girl (Rebecca Smart) in a long, light blue sailor dress with a white sailor collar and scarf. 3 medium blue stripes. Other boys and girls in medium blue shirts and mainly grey and beige shorts or knickers, but I think without sailor collar but regular white and light blue collars.

Also a spanking scene of the girl.

Alternate title: Celia: Child of Terror.

Interesting and weird movie. Handsome, blonde kids.

Rating 5-6 for now for the sailor dress. I think rather few sailor dress scenes.

Verliebte Ferien in Tirol

Heimatfilm starring Uschi Glas
Year: 1971
Year in film: ~1970
Country: Germany
Who in clothing: Peterl ~10 ? suspenders
Who in clothing 2: men Lederhosen
Available on DVD: yes
I own: no
Clothing occurence: low ?
Rating:  3/10 ?
Rating: ***
Comment: One boy, maybe Alfred Litzinger in long, grey cotton pants with H-style leather suspenders and a Tyrolean hat. According to the movie poster also in short Lederhosen. Near the end also young men and maybe teen boys in short Lederhosen dancing Schuhplattler. Also a spanking scene of the boy outside.

I think few good scenes. Typical late musical Heimatfilm. Directed by Harald Reinl, starring Hans-Jürgen Bäumler, Georg Thomalla, Rudolf Prack and Beppo Brem.

So rating 3-4 for now only.

Update: Junges Licht

After more than half a year, I finally have seen (almost) the complete movie. One of the best recent Lederhosen movies. Rating 9 was correct, almost rating 10!

Many good scenes and often sitting scenes. But rather few others (from school) and I think no smooth finish Lederhosen. And I don’t like much the main character. Blonde would be better.

Pic 1 at 48 minutes, pic 2 21, pic 3 at 58 (also on all fours, even better) and pic 4 at 34 minutes with another boy in Lederhosen but without suspenders. Unpictured: Sitting on bed at 1h42.

There’s a spanking scene at school (slapping on the hands, another boy).

Definitely worth buying, but I bet that this will soon be aired on TV.

Also soon on my bedroom blog (rating 6).

Main entry (pic there at 14 minutes)

I also have found the recent unknown movie on my shiny shorts blog.

Das Rätsel der Sandbank (1984)

Adventure / Thriller series, 10 ep
Year: 1984 *
Year in film: 1904
Country: Germany
Who in clothing: boys ~7-13 ? sailor suits
Who in clothing 2: girls dresses
Available on DVD: yes

Clothing occurence: low ?
Rating:  7/10 ?
Rating: *******
Comment: Several young boys and teen boys at school. All or almost all in different sailor suits and mainly blue sailor collars. Most collars are short (long neckline at front). One boy in a red sailor collar. Also girls in that class. But not sure if in sailor dresses. Also a spanking scene of the older boy (standing) in long white pants.

Checking for some b&w classics (soon on my bib overalls blog), I found this scene by coincidence on YouTube (titled Prügelstrafe).

The series is available in the great “Große Geschichten” DVD series (“Väter & Söhne” rating 9, Das Klavier (rating 6), Jokehnen (rating 6), Heldenfrühling, Nirgendwo ist Poenichen, Jauche und Levkojen, and several other good series.

There is a 1987 movie with the same title and including some of the scenes of the series, but that one is not a compilation of this series but an independant movie! Based on the 1903 novel “The Riddle of the Sands” by Robert Erskine Childers. There’s also another, British 1979 movie.

I don’t know the complete series, yet, but I assume few or very few scenes. Who knows the complete series and can give more details? Is it worth buying?

Rating 7-8 for now.

Update: Looking for Miracles

Next to vintage 1930s clothes including bib overalls, a short union suit (underwear), bathing costumes and even a sailor suit, there are also other interesting scenes.

There’s also a caning scene at 38 minutes, so now tagged spanking as well.

I have still not finished rechecking the DVD.

Very handsome Zachary Bennett, but he’s quite young. Nice rear views.

Main entry here rating 3

Also on my bib overalls blog, rating 5 and my bedroom blog, rating 7.

Comment: At least this boy, Marko Ratic (1975-2013) in two or more, short sailor suits. Grey and black. Long, dark blue collar, 3 stripes and at the edges two Navy like stars. Many scenes with him in sailor suits. The collar is mainly or only attached or combined to the jackets.

Several interesting scenes like being spanked (no pants on, but the top of the sailor suit), peeing in boots and the like.

English titel: The End of the War, Russian title: Крај рата.

I don’t remember other actors in sailor suits. And the boy is very young.

So for sailor suits, rating 5-6 only. There are better movies.
