Update: Kalle wird Bürgermeister

Now completely seen. Rating 8-(9) was correct. This movie (almost) has it all. Smooth finished leather, H-style suspenders, teen boys, girl in Lederhosen, fat boy in Lederhosen, (few) sailor-style (girls only), cycling in Lederhosen (teen boy, buckskin)… Many boys in Lederhosen, around 100 boys ~5-15 yo (mainly younger boys), but many supporting actors from a distance. So rather ~10 boys and only ~1-2 in smooth finished leather.

Pic 1 at 1h10 (smooth finished leather, 2 zippers), also several other scenes of him, including rear views (mainly from a distance), pic 2 at 57 showing main character Kalle in buckskin Lederhosen, another, younger boy H-style suspenders and a fat boy (buckskin with patina).

Pic 3 showing the girl in short buckskin Lederhosen (brief scene at 1h01 also legs shown). Pic 4 at ~26 minutes showing boys, maybe one or 2 in smooth finished leather but briefly and side view.

First scene at 12 minutes (sitting), best scenes (front) of the teen boy Kalle at the beginning (22 minutes) but I don’t like him. Other notable scenes at:

18 Kalle rear, 25 cycling Kalle, 36 sit, 36 smooth finished (see main entry), 41 short sailor collar, rear,44 smooth finished, 46 sailor style, 46 seesaw, 50 smooth finished rear, 51 H-style (see main entry), 56 smooth finished, 56 fat boy+others, 57+1h09 smooth finished, 1h15 boy 5 yo, 1h19 young boys, rear.

Another update soon. Also soon on my pigtails and Western blog. Typical 50s movie like Erich Kästner.

Comment: Obviously several boys in Lederhosen, with and without H-style suspenders. Young boys and teen boys (at least up to 14/15 yo). Some Lederhosen have much patina maybe smooth finished? Also others in shorts.

Aka Winnetous Söhne.

Pics from the trailer. Update: Completely seen. Much more scenes than assumed and many smooth finished leather. Also a girl in Lederhosen and a fat boy. Almost rating 9.

Uomini & donne, amori & bugie

Drama starring Ornella Muti
Year: 2003
Year in film: 1962-(1969)
Country: Italy
Who in clothing: boys ~6, 12 Lederhosen
Who in clothing 2: girls ~8, 11 Lederhosen
Available on DVD: yes
I own: no
Clothing occurence: medium- ?
Rating:  8/10 ??
Rating: ********
Comment: At least 2 girls and 3 boys in light grey buckskin Lederhosen with H-style suspenders. Rating 8 for now. I almost ordered this DVD but am still unsure. Searching for Italian movies, I found this lesser known movie by coincidence.

First, there are 5 kids (Vittorio, Nina, Veronica, Marco and Francesco) including 1 toddler boy (not in these Lederhosen). The oldest boy is played by Walter Conciatore (“Incompreso (2002)”) uncredited on IMDb (again a shame). Then from left: Luca Lombardi, then his sister Giulia Lombardi as Veronica (looks like a boy although a long ponytail, also in shortalls, both perfect blue eyes) and pigtailed Shasa Vitale.

I only found some pics and this backstage clip (w./ sound elsewhere) and pic 2 showing next to Conciatore another same aged boy in Lederhosen, maybe a friend or relative in the movie. If I understood it right, these kids are only shown in the 1st 30 minutes (maybe even less in Lederhosen), but maybe there are some more supporting actors. Later, there are other boy actors like Daniele Lombardi and Denis Laratta (as older kids ?) probably not in Lederhosen.

Nice alpine setting in probably Austria (or Germany). Some scenes reminds me of Sound of Music. Also soon on my bib overalls and pigtails blogs.

Aka:  Uomini, donne, bambini (e cani). English title: Love, Lies, Kids… & Dogs.

Does anybody know this movie and can tell if it’s worth buying?

Meine Kindheit in der Schule (Unsere Geschichte)

Year: 2012
Year in film: ~1950s ?
Country: Germany
Who in clothing: boys ~6-12, Lederhosen
Who in clothing 2: shorts
Available on DVD no
I own: yes, partly TV recording
Clothing occurence: medium ?
Rating:  8/10 ?
Rating: ********
Comment: Several boys in Lederhosen, some of buckskin, others of smooth finish or nappa leather, with and without suspenders. Many scenes of course at school also sitting (close-up scenes, smooth finish, but I have not recorded that one). Also boys usually living on ships (but not in sailor suit).

Has been aired today. Unfortunately I missed most of it (beginning and end due to the Oktoberfest, nothing new of that, yet) . Some very good scenes. Setting is from the late 1940s to the 1960s. Some scenes in color but not the best scenes. Probably all pics from the 1950s and are from the middle of this episode.

Maybe some footage scenes are also included in other episodes. Is this also called “Meine Kindheit… in der Schulzeit” ?

I have to recheck it later (not available on the mediathek, maybe soon on YouTube like other episodes).

For other episodes check out the A-Z list (“Meine Kindheit”, and “Unsere Geschichte” rating 3-8) . This one rating 7-8.

Unsere Geschichte: Aufwachsen auf Amrum

Documentary series 78+ ep, 2008-
Year: 2016
Year in film: 1962, 50s
Country: Germany
Who in clothing: Hark ~9, girl, Lederhosen
Who in clothing 2: boys speedos
Available on DVD: yes *
I own: no
Clothing occurence: very low
Rating:  8/10
Rating: ********
Comment: At least one boy, maybe Hark Quedens or one of his brothers in short, smooth finish Lederhosen playing with a football. Also in speedos. His younger sister without clothes. Also at least 2 kids in shortalls and overalls. Ep 77.

Has been aired today. Subtitle “Eine Jugend auf Super 8″ Subtitle of the series Unsere Geschichte – Was den Norden bewegte. Maybe some episodes are part of the series “Meine Kindheit…” (see also my other posts, blog search). I haven’t seen it completetly yet but only noticed a very brief scene at 15 minutes. Pic 3 earlier. I think also a girl in Lederhosen.

Yet another childhood documentary but this time finally smooth finish Lederhosen and in color. Set on the island Amrum in Northern Germany. Handsome boy, good scenes and smooth finish means rating 8. Some other episodes might be also of interest.

and others of Meine Kindheit…

Update: Now completetly seen. One more brief scene of the boy in smooth finish Lederhosen on a beach (not shirtless, side view at 22 min.). 2 younger brothers (7-8 yo) without clothes front+rear. And the younger sisster in Lederhosen with H-style suspenders was here near the beginning but also very brief.

Available as MOD from the broadcaster but as very expensive Mitschnittservice.

One other episode of “Unsere Geschichte” is Meine Kindheit in der Schule, rating 8 as well but b&w.

Das Land hinter dem Regenbogen

DEFA drama. Director Herwig Kipping
Year: 1992
Year in film: 1953
Country: Germany
Who in clothing: boy ~12 Lederhosen ?, stockings
Who in clothing 2:
Available on DVD: yes *
I own: no
Clothing occurence: often ?
Rating:  8/10 ?
Rating: ********
Comment: At least one boy in I think short buckskin (or even smooth finished?)  Lederhosen and long stockings. Not sure if they are Lederhosen but it looks like on other pics. There’s also another boy, not sure if in Lederhosen as well. Also both peeing on top of a statue while a girl is watching.

Looks like a rare movie and I found it by coincidence. English title: The Land Beyond the Rainbow. There’s a DVD on amazon for $ 170 or 380 EUR.

Starring Winfried Glatzeder. Not sure about the boy’s name. Maybe Thomas Ewert.

I hope for a soon broadcasting. Interesting apocalyptic, surreal fantasy movie.

Rating 8-9 for now.

Meine Kinder und ich

Family film starring Grethe Weiser
-Year: 1955
-Year in film: 1950s
-Country: Germany
-Who in clothing: Peter ~12, Lederhosen
-Who in clothing 2:
-Available on DVD: no
-I own: no
-Clothing occurence: low ?
-Rating: 8/10 ?
-Rating: ********
-Comment: 11 or 12 yo but much younger looking Roland Kaiser (it’s the actor, not the singer) in tight dark, maybe black, I think smooth finish or nappa Lederhosen without suspenders. Sorry, currently no pics. The pics here are taken from Ferien auf Immenhof (1957). “Meine Kinder und ich” is a b&w movie and very rare.

There is no DVD release and currently no clips online. I think it was online and got deleted. So I wait for another upload or TV broadcasting.

Also starring Paul Dahlke. Directed by Wolfgang Schleif who also did the Immehof movies and similar movies, also Zärtliches Geheimnis, aka Ferien in Tirol starring Michael Ande.

I like smooth finish Lederhosen.

So rating 8-9 for now. But I assume rather few good scenes and have to recheck it later.

Der Schwur von Rabenhorst

DEFA family film
-Year: 1987
-Year in film: 1949
-Country: East Germany
-Who in clothing: boy ~12 Lederhosen
-Who in clothing 2: shorts with suspenders, soviet scarves
-Available on DVD: no
-I own: no
-Clothing occurence: medium ?
-Rating: 8/10 ?
-Rating: ********
-Comment: Some boys around 12 and 13 in shorts with H-style suspenders but I only noticed one boy in real short and tight buckskin Lederhosen (also with H-style suspenders). He is also cycling in them. Also boys with blue soviet scarves.

Looks very interesting but I only have checked it at high speed.

I’m not sure, but I think I can give rating 8 for now. Quite rare for an East German movie showing Lederhosen set in the 1940s.

Also starring Wolfgang Greese (“Mama ist unmöglich”) as preacher .

I even found a much better movie but I have to do more research. As I currently don’t have pics or clips, I don’t make a post to better find them. Google would give false results and referring to this blog.

Tomorrow officially starting the Oktoberfest. I haven’t found movies of interest for Saturday except the opening broadcasting, I think starting at 11 h. Sunday the Trachtenzug at 10 h. I will search for more on Sunday and later tomorrow.

How We Used to Live (1968)

British ITV school TV
-Year: 1968-1996
-Year in film: 1902, 1950s, 1890s
-Country: UK
-Who in clothing: boys ~6-10 sailor suits
-Who in clothing 2: shorts
-Available on DVD: no ?
-I own: no
-Clothing occurence: low
-Rating: 7/10 ?
-Rating: *******
-Comment: 2 boys in sailor suits in ep “1902-1926” set in 1914. There also episodes set in the 1900s and in the 1950s and more. Short and altar boys gowns (undressing gowns) but probably no Lederhosen.

The boy in pic 1 has a completely white collar and short pants and long black stockings and a straw hat (walking towards the camera. Side but no real rear view). And at least one more boy sitting on the ground (distance view) blue collar.

I don’t know all episodes but I think only few good scenes. There are scenes shown in the living rooms with mainly younger kids. However maybe an interesting series.

Rating 3 for now.

Update: Also a much better pic , close up and handsome boy + girl (on top) set in 1902 and also other scenes like shirtless and 2 boys in a bathtub. I think I have to make entries on my bedroom blog as well. I missing the 1940s and bib overalls scenes. However most episodes I found are set in the 1890s/1900s. Rating 7 for now.

There are 2 different clips on YouTube one titled s05e01 -(2)  in better quality and full length showing pic 1 and the bathtub scenes as well. He also wears a black suit and a white (non-sailor) collar. There’s also an older boy.

Info 190: Update: You Can’t Do That on Television

Like on my overalls blog (f/m, rating 6) I also found several more boys and girls in sailor suits, sailor dresses.

My favourite actor in this show is Doug Ptolemy (pic 2) in episode “Censorship”.

Pic 1 showing Amyas Godfrey (low neckline, long collar flap also very handsome) in 1989 ep. “Cleanliness”. Pic 3 is from the same episode also showing 2 girls in the middle (one other scene is with a dirty muddy boy). Chris Bickford on the right (saying: stupid sissy sailor suits) and I think Ted Wilson 2nd from left (very short neckline), Amyas on left. Pic 4 I found first. I think this is young Alasdair Gillis in ep. “Bullying” in a long blue white sailor suit with medium blue pants and dickey.

Also in sailor suit: Asian looking James Tung  in ep. Censorship (few scenes).

Also the previously known boys and girls in sailor suits in ep. Censorship (see main entry rating 8).

Sailor suits seem of thin fabric and more like costumes. Stripes on the collars are not angled at 90 degrees but crossing each other and leading to the end of the collar. (I have sometimes seen it in French movies like Le temps des secrets).

And several shirtless scenes, scenes in underwear, shiny shorts, speedos etc.
