-Rating: 1/10 *

-Comment: One very short scene of a boy in light brown longer buckskin Lederhosen (pictured with a brown hat looking down behind the one with the black hat) and some altar boys (red/white clothing). One toddler in longer buckskin Lederhosen and a hat (2nd pic on the right). Some men in different Lederhosen and other historical clothing (black pants and others in white pants and short pants over them, pictured). There is a person at a bowling alley (outside and far in the distance), not sure if this is a teen boy or a men.

Very few Lederhosen scenes (of boys). Some men in typical Lederhosen, also dancing (but no Schuhplattler). The movie is quite good and a typical Heimatfilm and landscape, some songs and some few dramatic scenes but could be much better.

Also starring Hermann Erhardt, Kurt Heintel, Erich Auer and Oskar Sima. I haven’t found any DVD nor VHS release. There is a related 1984 sequel which is available on VHS. I have to check this as well (starring Franco Nero and Tilo Prückner), sometimes wrongly dated also as the 1955 version.

For Lederhosen scenes rating 1-2. Movie would be ~5. No clips.

Comment: One young boy in buckskin Lederhosen (I think dark brown), 2 zippers, no suspenders. One other in shorts and young Thomas Ohrner ~6ys in light blue weird bib overalls. (I don’t like the bibs, also too young so no entry at my overalls blog).
Kids dressed like Indians playing pranks.

Typical and very good and funny film of the 70s. Starring lots of the best comedians of the 70s including Eddie Arendt, Ilja Richter and Theo Lingen; also Horst Janson, Erni Singerl and Beppo Brem.

I missed the beginning but for the rest I only noticed one or 2 brief scenes with the boy in Lederhosen (not even sure if it’s the boy pictured) in fact only 1 scene showing the zippers (sorry, I recorded too late). At the end the 3 or 4 men in longer Lederhosen (also brief and bad scene).

Can be watched again online for the next 7 days at das-vierte.de.
For Lederhosen scenes rating 1-2 only. Film itself would be 5 or 6.

Comment: One boy sitting playing accordion in buckskin Lederhosen (pictured, short scene), maybe 2 even older boys cycling (not sure if really Lederhosen, at least one appears to be black modern pants of synthetic fabric) shortly after that scene cycling and skating inside a building (this castle?), and I think some younger kids in a group outside at a distance (supporting actors) but also unsure if Lederhosen and brief scenes.

Probably the same Heimatfilm series starring Hinterseer like “Da wo das Glück beginnt” (see that entry, rating 6) and at least 2 other films.

But this time very few Lederhosen scenes. In fact no notable scenes, and I even noticed any notable scenes of men in Lederhosen.
The film itself is also not the best. Also starring Anja Kruse and Karina Thayenthal.

So rating 1-2 only.
Available on DVD. Some short clips on YouTube, but no need to embed them.

Comment: A young boy ~11-12 ys in Lederhosen with H-Style suspenders (pictured). Not even sure if they are short Lederhosen. I don’t know his name, maybe uncredited. Also another boy (one of the lead characters of the lower grade) in white shorts. Also other tight long pants like a light blue jeans (of the 60s) and other cotton pants.

I noticed only 2 very short scenes (this one and one of him sitting showing his back, but also the Lederhosen not really shown there. I missed some few parts of the beginning but don’t assume much more either. And those ugly typical 60s glasses.

The movie itself is quite good and funny, although I don’t like those school comedies which often starred Hansi Kraus or Heintje (not here).
Famous (grown up) actors like Georg Thomalla as teacher, Uschi Glas, Peter Weck and singer Roy Black who played the lead actor of the higher grade.
International title “Always Trouble With the Teachers”.
One of the better school movies, but for the Lederhosen scenes only rating 1-2 for now. 2 boys are getting hit in the face by a woman at the end. Some few good landscape scenes at a lake and mountains. But it’s not a Heimatfilm.

Story 13: Old women in sailor dresses, long collar

As announced I make this story entry of “The Music Man (1962)”.
At 1h25 there are I think 5 older women (40-50 ys +) in sailor dresses dancing on a stage. White sailor dresses, white long collars with light blue edges and scarfs, longer dark blue skirts. And this lady at the piano I believe has the longest collar.

However this is a very good, Oscar nominated musical also showing 7 yo Ron Howard in a sailor suit, girls and teen girls in sailor dresses and historical clothing and also boys and men in overalls (my rating 9, for overalls even 10)  and I like long, white and unusual collars, but this is one of the worst scenes with sailor dresses.
Old, fat and ugly women, so I don’t think I have to show more pics of them.
At least I have my first rating 1 entry.

For more infos about this movie, see it’s entry at

and List 12 of long, white and unusual collars.
