Update 2: Alfons Zitterbacke (1966)

Has been aired yesterday, but I only have seen the end. Even much better than I remembered. Some very good close-up scenes (also showing briefly the red underwear of Alfons through the legs). Also another, even better close-up scene of a boy in smooth finished Lederhosen at 48 minutes. There are also several other boys walking downstairs, but very brief scenes as well and most or all others in buckskin leather or shorts. Pic 2 is at around 55 minutes.

The blue overalls of the girl is also better than remembered. Some good sitting scenes.

Main entry, still rating 7 (I don’t like this boy and his haircut)

Unknown 29 = Großer Ring mit Außenschleife

The recent unknown movie is called “Großer Ring mit Außenschleife”. Thanks very much Michael!

Unfortunately rather few scenes at the beginning but great scenes, especially rear views including close-ups. Also sitting, but from a distance behind the table.

The 2 brothers are Christian Böttcher and Rolf Bogus, I think the boy in Lederhosen is Rolf Bogus (“Till, der Junge von nebenan”).

Unknown 29: B&w smooth finished Lederhosen

TV drama “Großer Ring mit Außenschleife”
Year: 1966
Year in film: 1960s ?
Country: Germany
Who in clothing: Bobby ~10 ? Lederhosen
Who in clothing 2:
Available on DVD: yes
I own: no
Clothing occurrence: low+
Rating:  8/10
Rating: ********
Comment: I found this pic, but I don’t know from what movie (or series) this is. Obviously 1950s or 1960s, looks like (West) Berlin to me. Or maybe East German.

Can anybody help?

Nice, larger, smooth finished Lederhosen with a belt. No suspenders. Blond boy.

Rating ~8-9 for now.

Update: The movie is called: Großer Ring mit Außenschleife.

Update: Kalle wird Bürgermeister

Now completely seen. Rating 8-(9) was correct. This movie (almost) has it all. Smooth finished leather, H-style suspenders, teen boys, girl in Lederhosen, fat boy in Lederhosen, (few) sailor-style (girls only), cycling in Lederhosen (teen boy, buckskin)… Many boys in Lederhosen, around 100 boys ~5-15 yo (mainly younger boys), but many supporting actors from a distance. So rather ~10 boys and only ~1-2 in smooth finished leather.

Pic 1 at 1h10 (smooth finished leather, 2 zippers), also several other scenes of him, including rear views (mainly from a distance), pic 2 at 57 showing main character Kalle in buckskin Lederhosen, another, younger boy H-style suspenders and a fat boy (buckskin with patina).

Pic 3 showing the girl in short buckskin Lederhosen (brief scene at 1h01 also legs shown). Pic 4 at ~26 minutes showing boys, maybe one or 2 in smooth finished leather but briefly and side view.

First scene at 12 minutes (sitting), best scenes (front) of the teen boy Kalle at the beginning (22 minutes) but I don’t like him. Other notable scenes at:

18 Kalle rear, 25 cycling Kalle, 36 sit, 36 smooth finished (see main entry), 41 short sailor collar, rear,44 smooth finished, 46 sailor style, 46 seesaw, 50 smooth finished rear, 51 H-style (see main entry), 56 smooth finished, 56 fat boy+others, 57+1h09 smooth finished, 1h15 boy 5 yo, 1h19 young boys, rear.

Another update soon. Also soon on my pigtails and Western blog. Typical 50s movie like Erich Kästner.

Comment: Obviously several boys in Lederhosen, with and without H-style suspenders. Young boys and teen boys (at least up to 14/15 yo). Some Lederhosen have much patina maybe smooth finished? Also others in shorts.

Aka Winnetous Söhne.

Pics from the trailer. Update: Completely seen. Much more scenes than assumed and many smooth finished leather. Also a girl in Lederhosen and a fat boy. Almost rating 9.

Update 3: Aber Vati!

I have seen episode 3 and the first half of episode 4. I also have rechecked my recordings in slo-mo, mainly from episode 1.

Pic 1 showing other boys in brown buckskin Lederhosen. Same 2 vertical zippers.

The walking scene of pic 2 (episode 1 ?) showing clearly that the fabric is very thin. I’m still unsure if it’s leather. To me, leather and nappa are not that thin. But there are drawstrings beneath. The fabric is also shiny, so could be PVC. But probably we will never know for sure. I don’t like too thin fabric but it also has some advantages.

In episode 3 they have much longer hair (although in 1974 as well). Rather few good scenes.

Episode 4 is much worse. 5 years older and probably no Lederhosen. And the kid in overalls at the beginning is a girl and not a boy (see my other blog).

Update 2: Aber Vati! (on TV)

2 episodes have been aired yesterday and I’ve seen most of them.

Quite interesting family series, but the boys are very young and not that handsome. Often in black short with 2 zippers and a belt. Not sure if it’s leather or nappa. Maybe rather some sort of plastic (PVC). The fabric seems very thin. But there are some few other boys in brown buckskin Lederhosen but few and brief scenes and mainly from a distance. ALso the twins in other shorts and pajamas.

Pic 1 from ep 2, pic 2 from ep 3. Ep 3+4 will be aired next Monday but much fewer good scenes. Ep 4 is set 5 years later. Also a boy in bib overalls in ep 4 (soon on my other blog, rating ~3).

Also interesting bedroom, soon on that blog, rating ~4-5.

Main entry, currently still rating 9, but rather 6-7

Update: Die Vorstadtkrokodile (1977)

By coincidence (for checking about Battle of the Network Stars), I found a clip on YouTube and uploaded 2 more and better pics (these ones). The clip repeats the beginning, but I think missing the end.

Still a great movie. But I don’t like the 70s and prefer Heimatfilms.

Main entry, rating 7

Also soon on my bedroom blog, ~rating 6.
